John Muir Health’s medical centers in Concord and Walnut Creek have earned recognition as two of the Best Regional Hospitals in the U.S. for 2025–26 by U.S. News & World Report, a distinction awarded to only 11% of hospitals nationwide. Both centers ranked among the top 3 hospitals in the San Francisco Metro Area for the ninth consecutive year and placed in the top 15 in California, with Walnut Creek nationally ranked in Obstetrics & Gynecology and high performing in multiple other specialties. Together, the centers were recognized for excellence in dozens of adult procedures and conditions, reflecting their commitment to advanced care, strong clinical teams and service to the local community.
