A new locally owned Chick-fil-A has opened at 2290 Oak Grove Rd at Citrus Marketplace, strengthening dining options on that side of town and adding to the tenant mix within the shopping center. The non–drive-thru location is creating 75 new jobs, including 11 positions filled by local students, supporting workforce development and local employment. Mayor Kevin Wilk, Councilmember Cindy Darling, and Councilmember Cindy Silva joined City staff to welcome the new operator and celebrate this addition to the community. Owner Kaylee Thornton and her husband TJ are committed to giving back through cash and food donations, further reinforcing the business’s positive community impact.
