Funders and Founders Event Held at City Hall

On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, local entrepreneurs gathered at the Walnut Creek City Hall for the Meet the Funders event created in partnership with Diablo Valley Tech Initiative. This event brought the startup community together to learn about how to pursue venture capital and angel funding. The effort targets the City’s economic development goal of growing its presence as a regional tech hub while also providing support to small local businesses and connecting them with resources.
