Diablo Ballet, located at 490 N. Wiget Lane, held its ribbon cutting on Tuesday, April 21. An internationally recognized professional dance company, Diablo Ballet also provides training and community engagement programs that enrich the local arts scene. In its new location, the organization has consolidated multiple operations into one central site, now housing its costume shop, administrative offices, and expanded dance studios designed to better reflect stage-scale practice. Mayor Kevin Wilk, Economic Development, and Arts + Recreation staff attended the event to celebrate this exciting milestone for the organization as well as for revitalization of the Shadelands area.
